Why most income claims shrink
- Revenue ≠ profit. Many public numbers are gross revenue or MRR. One founder in our case list (Jozef Gherman, per his own Starter Story interview) reports ~$190k MRR but only $10–30k monthly profit after ~$100k/month in ads.
- Survivorship. Public income stories are mostly the successes; projects that earn little rarely publish their numbers.
